Fore Design is proud to have designed and is currently delivering a new premium tourist accommodation project in the heart of Hahndorf, addressing a long-standing gap in the market.
The site previously comprised three retail tenancies occupying a former petrol station, with various buildings to the rear. As it stood, much of the site was under-utilised and not in keeping with the established character of the Hahndorf township.
Engaged by a long-standing client, Fore Design was tasked with assessing viable development options for the site. The outcome is a thoughtfully planned development featuring 29 premium accommodation units in addition to two retail tenancies and the accommodation reception fronting Hahndorf’s main street.
Our design approach maximises the use and functionality of the site while respecting State Heritage requirements and the town’s established character. These considerations informed the building form, heights, material selections, and the careful transition between the street-facing tenancies and the accommodation behind.
Currently in construction with Marshall & Brougham, we look forward to facilitating the project to completion.
