We are pleased to have delivered a considered solution for our client’s vision to expand their medical practice in Mount Barker to an adjoining site. The current consulting rooms accommodate general practice services, as well as GP obstetrics and shared antenatal care, mums and babies, skin cancer, and weight management.
An existing dwelling on the subject site will be demolished to make way for the new facility – the final proposal includes 4 consulting rooms, a treatment room, reception and waiting area plus staff and storage facilities.
The subtle design of the building reflects the regional fabric of the area. Expansive glazing in the reception area creates a bright and inviting entrance to the practice, while the consulting rooms are discreet, comfortable spaces. The red and cream colour palette of the external textures references the existing consulting building.
