Complementing the popular Cobb’s Hill Estate cellar door and restaurant, the new function centre will include a ‘coach house’ to display a replica Cobb and Co. stagecoach with the ability to move the stagecoach outdoors if required. Also included will be a bar and a versatile indoor–outdoor events space, perfectly suited to intimate celebrations of up to 24 seated guests.
The materiality draws inspiration from the estate’s own heritage, echoing stone and lime-washed textures, brickwork, pitched roofs, and timber details. Contemporary interiors and detailing will offer a touch of luxury while expansive glazing opens each space to the, rural views that unfold across the existing dam.
