Wotton Family Wines cellar door is situated in Uraidla, Adelaide Hills, overlooking the Piccadilly Valley. An existing shed has been converted to an open, light space that serves as a first port-of-call for visitors to learn about and sample the wines on offer. Timber details on the shed cellar door, provide a visual conversation with the timber of the pavilion. The pavilion itself demands attention from the road and is somewhere between a deck and and an enclosed pod, designed to make the most of the long views. Once you have your glass of wine and a cheese platter meander over to the pavilion to enjoy a relaxed afternoon amongst the vines and the views.
